Jen Sanya Williamson is a graduate of the University of Arizona where she received a BA in creative writing. She spends most of her time with her junior high students, teaching and talking books. A must-read for anyone who loves music or a musician

I just finished reading this book, and I was blown away by it! I had so many personal connections to it as a former spouse of a performing musician as well as sister to a prematurely deceased drummer, and related strongly to Riley and Elisa in their conflicted interactions with artists. I loved the strong, smart and rule- abiding female main character, and thought her bond with her grandmother was beautiful and unusual in a YA novel. I am bouncing up and down waiting to find out more about this plot!! I am buying more copies for important girls in my life as must-reads.

I loved this book

I loved this book! It's been a long time since I've read something that keeps me up at night with excitement instead of putting me to sleep. I honestly think that anyone could pick up this book and easily enjoy it.
I felt really sad when I realized that I'd finished the book because I'm craving more. I can't wait for Volume 2!

Universally appealing - an all ages YA book. I loved the grandmother because I have watched my parents age and wanted more. I loved the mom because I wanted what I thought was best for my daughter. And I loved the daughter Riley because she is such a cool kid - a time traveling musician with ethics. Yep, well-written, thought-provoking, and leaves me aching for more.
